Service Description

Duo physician co-teachers are going to be co-teaching this transformative course! Dr. Ni-Cheng Liang and Dr. Ellen Cooke will be teaching together. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction is an evidence-based course that encompasses practical and experiential ways with group support to empower you to respond in healthier ways to stress and other challenges such as chronic illness. Reconnect with, and strengthen your innate ability to pay attention to the present moment and see what unfolds. ***Day of Mindfulness on Sunday 6/6 9am-3pm PST. It is recommended that you forgo this cycle if you will be missing more than 2 classes. Please note classes will not be recorded to foster a safe, open, sharing environment. One of our goals is to support cancer survivors and members of marginalized groups such as people of color, queer people, and those with disabilities as well as those in financial need (persons who wish to attend, but cost to attend is not financially feasible).
